Good morning St. Matthews UMC church family!

I want to invite you to join us in worship online today.  Instead of things being cancelled, we are just learning to do the ministries of our church in new ways during this time of social distancing.  I am excited about how each week there are new things to offer that help us connect in community.  I encourage you to join us AND share these resources with others:

Worship

This week we are continuing our λόγος series by looking at Jesus’ healing of a man born blind.  Please click the following link to watch the YouTube video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Uh8aa_-V7I

Our Hispanic Ministry, Tabernaculo de Avivamiento (TDA) will also have a Facebook Live video that will begin streaming at 12:30 pm.  You can find them by searching “Tda Church” on Facebook.

Wiggle Worship/Splash Worship

Our children’s ministry staff, Shannon Seidt and Lexie Callaham have developed this wonderful children’s moment video so that your kiddos can worship, play, and sing a long (Thanks Andrew!) from home.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LldiRSvkgNs

There are also three printable handouts to accompany the Children's Moment video:

Family Discussion Guide

My favorite part of worship last week was when our sons, Noah (11) and John (7), led us through our family devotional and helped read the Scriptures and ask questions.  This is a great resource to get your family (of all ages!) talking about everything going on in our world.

Giving

An important part of our worship each week is giving.  We always encourage you to think about how you are living out your faith by sharing your time, talent, and treasure.  Each of our campuses has a dedicated page to explain all the different options you have for giving (two of which don’t even require getting off your couch!):

Have a blessed Sabbath day!
