Good morning St. Matthews UMC church family and friends!

We are so excited to have the opportunity to worship online with you today!
Below are tons of resources to help you connect through worship, prayer,
discussion, and generosity through the week. Note that today is a 5th
Sunday, when we normally focus on the ministry of the Methodist Children’s
Home and invite you to make a donation. At the bottom is a link to a
mission moment and you can give online through our church website by
selecting “Methodist Home Fifth Sunday Offering” as the designated fund.

Worship
This week we are continuing our λόγος series and our worship is led by
Canvas service leaders: Maikel Rojas, Pastor; Miriam Rodriguez, Worship
Leader; and Paul Powell. Please click the following link to watch the
YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0kLQOstjyQ

Our Hispanic Ministry, Tabernaculo de Avivamiento (TDA) will also have a
Facebook Live video that will begin streaming at 12:30 pm.  You can find
them by searching “Tda Church” on Facebook.

Wiggle Worship/Splash Worship
Our children’s ministry staff, Shannon Seidt and Lexie Callaham have also
developed this wonderful children’s moment video so that your kiddos can
worship, play, and sing a long from home.

There are also prayer resources and printable handouts to accompany the
video.

Family Discussion Guide
This family discussion guide connects to today’s Scripture, where Jesus
raises Lazarus from the dead (Jn. 11). This is a great resource to get your
family (of all ages!) talking about everything going on in our world.

Giving
An important part of our worship each week is giving.  We always
encourage you to think about how you are living out your faith by sharing
your time, talent, and treasure.  Each of our campuses has a dedicated
page to explain all the different options you have for giving (two of which
don’t even require getting off your couch!):

Methodist Home Fifth Sunday Offering
We were supposed to host Melinda Smith, VP for Development at the
Children’s Home, in worship today at the St. Matthews campus. However,
she sent this reminder and thank you: “As you probably realize, this Fifth
Sunday represents 25% of our needed donations for the year, so it is very
important to sustaining the ministry. Thank you so much for helping us as
we continue to serve the children.” Please watch the following mission
moment video and consider making a donation today:

Have a blessed Sabbath day!
Pastors Adam, Derek, and Maikel
