United Women in Faith (formerly United Methodist Women) seeks to empower women to live out their faith through service, leadership, and advocacy working towards a world where all women, children, and youth can thrive.

Our three fold purpose can be summarized as:
-
Know God.
-
Support each other.
-
Participate in mission.

Optional reading program: Read from selected books on spiritual growth, leadership, nurturing for community, social action, and mission. This year we had “book club” discussions on The Book Woman’s Daughter and The Girl with the Louding Voice. We also had a Lenten book study on Spiritual Practices for Soul Care: 40 Ways to Deepen Your Faith.
Through donations and fundraisers, we were able to donate over $2000 to various local, regional, and global causes.
We currently have 2 circles.
Sarah Circle is a group of mostly retired women or those available for daytime meetings. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 10 am- 11:30 am in Wesley Cafe. For more information, please contact Eileen James. epjames27@gmail.com
Grace Circle is an emerging group of women who are balancing family and professional obligations while seeking involvement in missions and prayer with each other. We strive to have meetings every 6-8 weeks. Please contact Martha Royse or Shannon Seidt (sseidt@stmumc.org).
Whether you can only attend once a year,
every time there is a meeting or activity,
or any participation level in between,
we welcome you to join us.
There is a place for YOU
In either Sarah Circle or Grace Circle!
