I. Music Associate for Contemporary Worship
Expected Hours: Part-time, 10 hours per week

St. Matthews United Methodist Church is a vibrant, caring congregation in Louisville, KY. We average over 250 in weekly worship attendance across traditional, contemporary, and Spanish-speaking worship services.
​
The Director of Contemporary Worship for our River City Contemporary service is responsible for the recruitment and training of a worship band that leads the worship service. In addition to praise team rehearsal and worship leadership this person will work with the pastoral staff on a weekly basis to plan worship experiences. This person will also make the slide and video presentation each week and oversee sound equipment. This person shall see their role as a worship director and use it as an opportunity to lead both the congregation and the praise team to grow in their walk with God.

Gifts: Leadership, vocal & instrumental music, recruitment and training of volunteers, evangelism, knowledge of Pro-Presenter Software and sound equipment.

II. Music Associate for Hispanic Worship
Expected Hours: Part-time, 10 hours per week

The Director of Contemporary Worship for our Hispanic worship service, Tabernaculo de Avivamiento (TDA), is responsible for the recruitment and training of a worship band that leads the worship service. In addition to praise team rehearsal and worship leadership this person will work with the pastoral staff on a weekly basis to plan worship experiences. This person will also make the slide and video presentation each week and oversee sound equipment. This person shall see their role as a worship director and use it as an opportunity to lead both the congregation and the praise team to grow in their walk with God.

Gifts: Fluency in Spanish, leadership, vocal & instrumental music, recruitment and training of volunteers, evangelism, knowledge of Pro-Presenter Software and sound equipment.

II. Asociado de Música para la Adoración
en Español
Iglesia Metodista Unida St. Matthews
Horas esperadas: Medio tiempo, 10 horas por semana

La Iglesia Metodista Unida St. Matthews es una congregación vibrante y acogedora en Louisville, KY. Nuestro promedio de asistencia semanal al culto supera las 250 personas, distribuidas en servicios de adoración tradicional, contemporánea y de habla hispana.
​
El Director de Adoración Contemporánea para nuestro servicio hispano, Tabernáculo de Avivamiento (TDA), es responsable del reclutamiento y la capacitación de una banda de alabanza que dirige el servicio de adoración. Además de los ensayos y la dirección de la alabanza, esta persona trabajará semanalmente con el personal pastoral para planificar las experiencias de adoración. También será responsable de preparar las presentaciones de diapositivas y videos cada semana, así como supervisar el equipo de sonido. Esta persona deberá entender su papel como director de adoración y aprovecharlo como una oportunidad para ayudar a los integrantes de la banda a crecer en su caminar con Dios.
​
Dones y habilidades requeridas: Fluidez en español y poderse comunicar en inglés, liderazgo, música vocal e instrumental, reclutamiento y capacitación de voluntarios, evangelismo, conocimiento del software ProPresenter y de equipos de sonido.
