The Third Sunday of Lent

Foolishness of the Cross_Web.jpg

Welcome to worship

at St. Matthews United Methodist Church!

From the world’s perspective, the cross was a failure, a punishment, a humiliation. However, the foolishness of the cross is that it turns this on its head and the cross becomes victory and redemption.  In this Lenten series, we focus on how this “foolishness” of grace restores our connection to God and one another. This week's scripture focus is on the "one another" part: check out Ephesians 2:11-22.

This Sunday Holy Communion will be served in all our worship services.
